We are not only a mother and daughter duo but also business partners and the creators of Reblok Rugs.

Annukka Mikkola crafted the first L-shaped wall rugs as part of her exhibition and installation at the Johan S Gallery in Helsinki back in 2002.

Fast forward 20 years to 2023, and the Reblok collection was born with the core idea of infusing color, art, and playfulness into rooms and spaces. Today, we are a family-owned company on a mission to enhance the world's beauty with our Bauhaus-inspired wool wall rugs.

Annukka holds professional titles such as Designer MA in the Art of Textile and MA in the Art of Pedagogy for Visual Arts, while Rebekka brings a decade of business experience to the partnership. Rebekka gained a strong foundation in various aspects of business management during her time at Aalto University in Helsinki and the University for the Creative Arts in London. This knowledge was acquired through her coursework in Economics as well as Fashion Design and Marketing.
